Request for Provision of Flexible Cable Drawing

If the pitches and pin number listed below apply, we will ask you to provide a drawing of your flexible cable to allow us to determine whether the clip connector tool for your flexible cable can be manufactured. If it can be manufactured, a fabrication drawing for a guide tailored to your flexible cable will be returned to you.
When placing an order, please confirm that you order clearly indicates the Drawing No. for the fabrication drawing and Product Type (Product No.) listed in the site.
We ask that you prepare a drawing, despite the inconvenience, since one will allow us to determine whether we can manufacture your clip connector tool.

Products Requiring Provision of Drawings

Pitch Pin number Drawing Provision Series Name
0.2 mm 17 to 101 pins Essential CCJF
0.3 mm 6 to 91 pins CCJF
11 to 101 pins CCSE
0.4 mm 4 to 33 pins CCJF
0.5 mm 4 to 54 pins CCJF
3 to 47 pins CCMO
48 to 69 pins CCSE
0.8 mm 4 to 17 pins CCMO
1.0 mm 3 to 35 pins CCMO

Scope of and Reasons for Provided Drawing

Reason for drawing provision (clip connector structure)

1. The clip connector has a guide to ensure that flexible cable is securely positioned. This guide extends to the stopper.

2. The guide unit is 10.7 mm long.
This means that unless the straight part at the tip of the flexible cable is at least 10.7 mm long, the tip of the flexible cable does not touch the stopper, meaning in turn that it does not contact the probe.

3. Products in the CCMO, CCSE, and CCJF series can be custom-manufactured for flexible cables with straight tip portions of less than 10.7 mm, bent flexible cables, and cables with irregular configurations by individually processing the corresponding guides.

Scope of presented drawing

1. Please submit a drawing clearly illustrating general conditions around the flexible cable around 20 mm from the tip and the periphery adjacent to the flexible cable. This will help us determine whether it is possible to fabricate a matching clip connector using the CCMO/CCSE series (using a one-sided guide) or the CCJF series.

2. Additionally, submit a drawing that clearly shows detailed dimensions of the contact part (land part) at the tip of the flexible cable.

Since the probe makes contact at specific predetermined positions, it may not always fit to the land of your flexible cable or may not perfectly contact the land.

Example: When using the 0.3mm pitch CCSE series

The 0.3mm pitch is for probe contact in zigzag configurations. It is designed so that the probe will contact points along the flexible cable at 0.7mm and 1.7mm from the cable tip.

We ask for your understanding in preparing and submitting the drawing.
