Use and Features

How to measure
 |
Prerequisite
Connect the network analyzer to the connector of the board to be calibrated, and check that no part is mounted on the place to be calibrated. (Refer to Figure 1.) |

How to calibrate:
Calibrate the network analyzer.
(1) Measure OPEN when nothing is connected to the calibrated point. (Figure 1)
(2) Measure SHORT between the calibration point of the short probe and GND. (Figure 2)
(3) Measure LOAD with load probe. (Figure 2)
(4) Valid CAL after finishing calibration.
The above process completes calibration on the board. The calibrated phase is where the probe is attached. |

Actual Measurement
Measurement mounting the parts obtains S parameter without the board. (Figure 3) |
